Cute Hair Bow Pattern

Here is a simple and cute hair bowl which yo can make in less than an hour and you can wear with almost everything.
These ones were made with cotton and wool but you can also make them with every left over yarn you have on your stash.
They make great little gifts or you can just fill your drawer with them and wear it every time you change outfits.

I have made two versions of these and I'll give you both the Crochet and Knitted version.

CROCHET HAIR BOW PATTERN

MATERIALS: Any scraps of any kind of yarn
NEEDLES: Use appropriate needle to the size of yarn you have chosen.

I used Lyion Brand Cotton Ease (which is a worsted weight yarn)
and Size 4.00 mm - US G-6 crochet Hook

Abbreviations:

Ch     chain(s)
rep    repeat(s)
sc      single crochet
sl st   slip stitch
dc      double crochet

Row 1: Using a size 4.00 mm (G-6) hook ch 14. Sc in the second st from the hook and sc in each ch to the end. Ch 1 and turn.  (12 sc)

Rnd 2:Sc in the 1st sc and sc in each sc to the end, ch 1 and turn

Repeat round 2 till the bow measures approximately 5" (24 rows). Cut yarn and fasten off.

To make the center ribbon:

Ch 12, dc in the 2nd ch from the hook. Dc in the next 9 ch (10 dc), ch 2 turn.
Dc in each dc.
Now cut a piece of yarn and tie it in the middle of the bow.

Put the ribbon you just made in the middle of the bow and sl st the two ends together to close the ribbon. Fasten off and weave in the ends. (or you can also fasten off and using a tapestry needle sew the two ends together if you prefer).

That is it ... You are done and now you have a cute little hair bow and can make many more...
