I'm still having trouble with my arm and shoulder so I decided maybe it would be a good idea to start a series of short posts to see if I can slowly get back here.
I miss you all ...
Spring has been just gorgeous here in Oregon ... I'm just overwhelmed by its beauty.
New Azelia's in my front yard
And Here is what I have been doing this Sunday mornings ...
I have a beautiful Hawaiian friend who just had a baby boy. I was making this bright and happy baby blanket for her about a month ago when the baby decided to come a lot earlier than expected. Both mom and baby are doing great ... And I'm trying to do a little ( shhhh ... don't tell my doctor ;)) every day to see if I can get it done by the time she comes back .
Thank you for coming to see me even if I'm only here for just a short little post. . . I sure miss you.
PS: made an inventory of all my "Hats for Brazil" this weekend and I already have 81 hats, 3 blankets and 5 sweaters with matching booties. Yay !!! And all thanks to your generous hearts !!! I will be doing a proper post thanking everyone of you next time. Here is a little sneak preview:
Have a wonderful Sunday great friends

beautiful photos Taci. Do take care and don't overdo it - I know though it is hard not be able to get on with something you enjoy. A lovely collection of hats etc. I just have finishing touch to put to my last one and they will be on their way to you. Take care. Anne x

Alot of hats and baby items. That's great! My lilacs are blooming as well. I was out taking a photos yesterday a.m. since there was rain drops gleaming on them. Heal well and thanks for the update. Hugs and a blessed week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your injuries. I can only imagine the pain you've been in with a torn rotator cuff. Don't overdo things. I know it's a slow recovery, but try not to be impatient. All your baby hats are just beautiful. It's such a worthwhile project.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself.
Gorgeous flowers! I have baby stuff I will be sending out to you real soon...I think I can finish up in the next week. Hope your shoulder continues to improve...don't over do!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a big pile of hats! I'm impressed! How will you get them to Brazil? That last yellow flower is a Mahonia aka Oregon Grape. We're relaxing in our trailer at the beach. See you soon! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful trees and flowers! And just look at all those donations! That is just wonderful that so many people contributed.
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Lots and lots of hats!!! Never too many hats. I'm glad you're doing better. Be sure not to over do though. I'll see you very soon sweet Taci.

Such beautiful flowers around you, Taci! I am excited to see all the hats coming in and hope I can make more before you leave in July. The baby blanket you are making is precious...and I am cheering you on to rest and heal rapidly. My son Tim and I arrived in Gearhart, OR, for five nights in a condo on the beach and even though it was raining when we arrived this afternoon we are enjoying the sound of the gray sea. Hoping to see you next week! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful and very kind collection of hats for the children and babies. They are a sight to cheer for sure. I hope that you keep getting better and that you will be fully healed very soon, in the meantime enjoy the flowers to cheery you along - with the hats too! xx

Dear Taci, so sorry to hear you are still experiencing pain. Very aggravating when that happens and is ongoing. I do hope you will heal very soon. Everything sure looks beautiful where you are. Yesterday we hit 108 degrees so summer is truly here. Boo! Yay for all the hats and baby items. Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Tammy
