Hi there my dear friends !
Yes, it's true... We have sold our house ( yeah :) and we are in the middle of the crazy process of selling our house and packing 16 years of our lives.
It's a lot crazier than I anticipated, but it's a very cleansing process that is really making me feel lighter and free. It's amazing the amount of things we collect throughout our lives .. Even when we think we are not collectors ... Oh ... the amount of yarn one can have without even knowing we have it ;)
So ... I think i don't Need to say that is the reason I haven't been here as often and why I haven't been "visiting" you as often... That is usually one of my favorite parts of the day ...
I miss all of you and I'll be back soon, but before I go I just wanted to show you what I have been trying to finish when I have a second to spare ... Ha ha, ha...
The baby shower is this Saturday and I think I'll have to give her a collection of squares ( because a complete blanket will not be ready by then) ... The baby will be born end of October and that seems like a good target date for me now ...
As always ... I love all of your comments ( no matter how tired I'm I don't go to bed without reading them) and I cannot wait for my life to go back to normal so I can be here more often.
Thanks for all your support and stay well :)
Lots of love
Where are you moving to? Congrats on the sale! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteHello Taci . Moving house is a mammoth task. We moved 18 years ago after 24 years in the same house - oh how much stuff we'd accumulated. It took ages to sort as I kept stopping to relive memories that some of the objects brought back - like all my college stuff :-) Got there in the end though!! Dread moving again as I have so much craft stash now. Beautiful squares!!! Anne x
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the very best with your packing and moving - and settling in again, Taci! It's a huge job and yes, very time consuming!
ReplyDeleteYour squares are looking lovely and there's no point in rushing them anyway - you'll get them all put together and the baby blanket will be lovely!

good luck with the big move-that's a nice idea-to pack up the squares-and then take back home to finish up
ReplyDeleteYeah Taci! I'm so happy your house has sold. Now you can have fun decorating and making your new house a home.
ReplyDeleteThe blanket squares are beautiful and I'm sure it will be appreciated, finished by Friday or not!
I can't wait to see you next month and get a house update!
Blessings,
Betsy
Best of luck with your move, Taci. :)
ReplyDeleteGood news about the house, but packing and giving things away can be a big chore. Good luck,

HI Taci! I was wondering how things were going for you. I am so excited for you all! Can't wait to hear all about the new home! Your blanket is going to be sooooo pretty when it's done, love all those colors!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Shari
Progress!!! I am so glad your move is falling into place, Taci, and that you are making progress on the blanket as well. I am still playing catch-up on tasks around here that have been accumulating while I was traveling, and I have attended a wave of small group church meetings this week, gearing up for autumn activities. I'm praying you get good rest in all your busyness and I look forward to visiting with you in a little over two weeks:)

Congrats on selling your house. I can see that it would be a cleansing experience as it is an opportunity to get rid of all the stuff you don't need. I know I have lots and lots that I could get rid of. The baby blanket is gonna be lovely. Best wishes for the move, Tammy
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the house sell Taci! I will look forward to seeing posts about the new place. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on selling the house, Taci!! I keep my fingers crossed that the work will be manageable. You made good progress with your baby blanket, I'm sure it will be ready in time and look gorgeous! Have a good time :-)
