A Little Bit of Christmas

Last Saturday I helped our club - dresses for little girls in Africa - at my kids school to make ornaments for our Christmas tree which will be auctioned next Saturday at our Yullefest.
We made ornaments and next Friday we will decorate the tree with them.
It was so much fun... And even more fun knowing that all the money from our tree will go right back to our club and we will continue to make more dresses and send it to the little girls in Africa...
So , so very rewarding ...
Nothing fancy ... Neither the dresses nor the ornaments, but they are made with so much love and by girls ( and their moms) here in the US who are thinking about those little girls who have such a huge smile in their faces each time they get a new dress :) :) :)

It makes me sooooo happy I have a huge smile in my face...
Hope you are enjoying all the preparation for "the most wonderful time if the year".

I'm so happy you stopped by and want to wish a very happy and wonderful December.

  1. This is such a great project in every way, Taci. You and your daughter get to creatively serve together in a practical project that can bless both the givers and receivers. Your ornaments are lovely and I can imagine the dresses bring the girls great joy. Making gifts is a special way of expressing love, I think. I am making some simple little ornaments for a Christmas gift exchange with three dear, creative, friends :) Your generous creativity always inspires me!
    Blessings,
    Gracie xx

  6. Taci! Those ornaments are perfect! And for such a wonderful cause. I have another blog friend, Evy, who also makes simple dresses for girls in Africa. You ladies are my inspiration and I'm so happy that the girls at your daughters school are involved.
As for your comment on my blog, I only had 3 pairs of mittens done at the time, (now 5)! My goal is 50 pairs by the end of Christmas break. I only wish they were all done. :-)
