Making Washcloths

Hi there Dear Friends ...

It has been hard for me to find time to get here to visit with you, even though I think I have already said it is one of my favorite times of the day...

I have again been very busy at work. Time is just flying by and when I see it is 10:00 in the evening. I haven't even had very much time to knit or crochet... But when I do I have been crazily making washcloths...

Washcloths for a bridal shower... (look at the pictures and see how cute they ended up being), washcloths for my kitchen... washcloths for my powder room... washcloths for my bathroom...

How fun... they are quick, rewarding and when I want to give them as a gift (as with the ones I just made for the shower, I just add a couple little dish scrubbies and put a cute soap with it and it makes a perfect little addition to a gift). I made them with 100% cotton and size 5.00 mm H crochet hook.

Well I have to run again... gotta cook dinner and keep going with laundry otherwise there wont be any clean clothes for next work week ... ha ha :)

Fun to be here and touch basis with you. I hope you have a fantastic week and THANK YOU for stopping by to "see" me ... I love your comments :)

  4. Such lovely practical gifts, Taci, and the way that you have wrapped them is very pretty as well. I have the heart washcloth you made for me right beside me with tea mugs on it :) I have been wondering how you are doing and how your house is coming along. You inspire me with your hard work and loving, generous heart that gives so much encouragement to those around you. Hope to see you soon! xx

  7. Hi Taci my wonderful friend! Those are such beautiful washcloths and I agree with Gracie. The way they are wrapped is beautiful as well. You are such a blessing in so many peoples lives Taci. I just plain love you and your giving heart. I'll be back down that way in a few weeks. Hopefully we can all see each other again.

  12. Hi Taci, I know what you mean about the hours in the day just rushing by. Before you know it, time for bed and you haven't had time for the fun stuff. I don't really like those kinda days but they seem to come more often. I spent 5 hours cleaning yesterday and now they say a dust storm is headed our way. Oh well! I do like making washcloths. Definitely satisfying. Simple and quick is about all I can handle lately. Yours are lovely tied up with the soap. A wonderful gift for sure. Hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend. Best wishes, Tammy
