It's a girl ... It's a girl blanket!

Hi there dear friends...
I can't believe that almost 10 days have gone by since I have posted... Life is very busy around here. School started, we had all of our closets done so now I can finally take all of our clothes out of boxes and I have been finding a minute here and there to knit a bit and crochet a little.

Our niece K are having a sweet baby girl in November ...we are so excited we can't stand it ... This last Saturday we had a baby shower for her and I have been making a few things for this sweet little girl she is going to have soon.
I made a few burp rugs with crochet edges, a cute little bib and finally a blanket I love to make for all the babies in the family ...
They have chosen the nursery to be yellow and grey, a combination I absolutely love since yellow is one of my favorite colors...
So when I was at the fabric store and found this fabric I knew right away this was going to be the perfect blanket for them.
Perfect yellow, with the right grey. I found a good yellow yarn and designed the crochet edge...
I think it was a perfect combination and I'm very happy with the result and I think Mom-to-be really liked it also ... Now I can't wait to wrap the sweet little girl in the blanket and just give her lots of hugs and loves ...
Babies are so wonderful and sweet ....

Hope you are having a wonderful and sweet week yourself.

I have been visiting your blogs as much as I can and hope you know you make my day so happy when you stop by to "see" me. Thanks for all your wonderful comments.
Lots of love .

  7. Oh I love the blanket Taci! Congratulations on a new little girl in the family. Piper's bedroom was gray and yellow too. It must be a popular color combination now. I had never seen one before hers and at first I thought it would look more like a boys room, but nope. It was really girly. I know that blanket will make the new baby feel wrapped in your love dear Taci.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
