Craftroom Pillow and Lunch with the Girls

Hi There Friends

I was very busy last week and weekend...

I am still trying to finish somethings so I can get my craft room done. 
This weekend I am going to try to sew a cover for my sewing machine. I will show you later. But last week I worked really hard and finished a pillow... yes a cute little pillow to put on the window seat my husband built for me...
And I love how it turned out. 

My inspiration was a pillow I saw at Annie's Place. I just loved it ... the simple lines and the elegance of it. So I decided to make a similar one and I really love the result...












I used a wool/angora yarn that my friend Natalie gave to me for my birthday and the grey is cascade 220. 
I am happy with the result and the colors ended up just perfect for my sunny room :)

As soon as I finish my curtains I am going to try to paint the walls. That will take a lot of time and energy but I am determined. When it is all done than I'll show you in a big reveal. :)


In the middle of the week I had a wonderful lunch with Teresa, Betsy and Gracie





We always have soooooo much fun together...

 I'm so blessed I have met them. We are becoming such close and good friends and they each area treasure to me. I also feel so blessed for all of you who come here to see me and support me on this adventure I embraced almost a year ago...
Can you believe it has been almost 1 year since I started this blog...?
I thought about it for years... and I'm so glad I did.

 Well friends I should go... I'm extremely tired and my family is ready to go to bed...

 Before I go I just wanted to express my heartfelt sympathy for the families affected by yet another horrific act of violence... and my prayers to the ones who got hurt. I hope they can start to heal both their bodies and their hearts and know that we are all praying for them.

 As always I hope you know that your visit makes a big difference to me and you touch my heart with your comments.

    Hi Taci, your pillow is so nice....I really love the colors you chose. I love color but I always stick to the lighter colors for some reason...I might need to venture out a little...you inspired me to do so! Girls night looked like lots of fun, I hope you all can have another soon!

    Taci, your pillow really is beautiful....classic and happy! I especially like the row of buttons detail. I am so glad you decided to blog, too! In light of the tragic happenings around us, I too am praying for healing for those who are suffering.     Taty, achei a almofada linda, e deve ter ficado confortável e macia tb. Tenho uma almofada de tecido que comprei pronta em uma loja, ela tem um formato de travesseiro pequeno, sou apaixonada por ela e só durmo com ela, até pra viajar levo, senão não consigo dormir...hahahah
