It seems like lately a lot of my friends are either having a baby or a grandbaby and what is a knit and crochet addict to do other than knit a hat...crochet a few headbands ...make a blanket...
So that is what I have been doing this days...headbands...hats ...and soon will start on a baby blanket as soon as they find out if they are having a boy or a girl...how fun will I have choosing yarn???
This week I was extremely busy at work so I didn't have too much time to play with yarn, but I managed to finish a cowl (which I forgot to take pictures... can you believe it?) for my daughter's best friend who is also like a daughter to me ...and to make this cute little baby hat.
I made it out of a mix of a few yarns I already had and Martha Stewart wool mix. I made up the pattern as I went so I don't have a specific pattern I followed...Just cuteness and I think it will look even cutter on the baby girl's head. :)...Just pure fun and joy.
I am also posting some pictures of our last KnitNite get together...all my friends having fun and sharing our craftiness and our makings ...
I feel so blessed for having so many great friends and to be able to share this great moments together.
Look at Teresa ( with her camera) Gracie and Betsy right there... We had a great time and enjoyed spending time together and sharing our project.
Well ... it's just gorgeous and sunny outside ...I have my ripple blanket right beside me ... and I can't wait to go back to work on it for a little while.
I hope is sunny and bright on your side of the world and I wish you a Bright and Perfect weekend.. Thanks for stopping to "see" me :)
Very cute hat!
ReplyDeleteKnit night looks like a lot of fun!
What a cute hat you made! I love making baby things. Thanks for having all of us over to knit night.. you're a wonderful hostess and have a beautiful home! We're finally home from the beach and are tired! Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the good pictures, Taci! We had a lovely time! Your latest baby hat is adorable! I just made a crocheted preemie baby hat. It seems so tiny I tried it on Miss Maggie Rabbit-Saylor and it fits her perfectly. I am going to check out some other patterns. Have a happy weekend! xx, Gracie
