Yet Another Blanket...

Hi there friends...I have missed you all...still going a 1,000 miles a minute around here. Don't know why I forget about it every year and think it will magically slow down.

my niece is getting married in August... another month and a half and I just decided I'm making a blanket for her and her husband for a wedding present. I really hope she does not look at my blog for this post so it will be a big surprise for them :) :) :)

The first stage was actually the hardest. To choose if I knit or crochet ... since I crochet a lot faster and only have a month and half (which will be huge challenge to me at my current life pace) I decided crochet it is... but it took me a whole week to decide on the pattern... she is a very girly girl (but I don't know that her husband would love a flower power blanket ah ah :)) and she loves bright beautiful color.

So... here it is .... beautiful... bright ... colorful squares for a beautiful couple.

My biggest challenge will be to stay focused and work on just one project until I'm done... and so help me God :)

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend ...it's beautiful, sunny and warm here and I absolutely love it.

Welcome to my new friends and Thanks for hanging in there with me I just love hearing from you.

  12. Hi Taci! I just got home an hour or so ago and first thing when I logged on the computer saw your lovely squares again. I had a wonderful time with you on Friday and I'm looking forward to next time. :-) you are a wonderful hostess.
Oh my goodness it's hot here and the drive was so long and lots of traffic. It actually took almost an hour longer than usual for the trip because traffic was so busy. And three fires along the interstate! Very scary.
Anyway Taci, I just want to let you know what a good friend you are.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
