Hi there friends...
It's been a while since I've been here. I've been missing you all, but we have had a lot of busyness going on in my household. We have decided to sale our house and with that decision it comes 16 years of cleaning up, hiding things in the attic and keeping the house spotless and ready to show at all times.
We are not moving too far, but still I have to say its not my favorite thing to do. Constantly cleaning and trying to keep my house looking the best so somebody else can see it the same way I do. I do love my house, but we feel that our kids are growing up and we need a little bit more space and for sure another garage (as my daughter is taking her driver's license this next week and my son is right behind her).
We are now in the selling our house phase ... after that it will be the moving phase ... and then waiting for our new house to be built...it sounds all so crazy but also so very exciting ...
But before we move i have been talking about redoing my craft room and I wanted to show it to you before I have to take it all down n get ready to move. I worked on it for a long time and the last thing missing was to paint the walls. I was going to paint the walls grey, but decided to not paint. I think that it will look nicer when we are in our new house with the grey walls, but for now I wanted to show you the little details and what I have been up to...
Hope you like it... :)
I may be dropping by a little less until we move because all the movement around here, but I'll be checking in and letting you know how it all progresses..
I'm still making progress on my niece's blanket ... Check the picture ...almost there :)
Thanks so very much for stopping by to see me and for all your comments...It makes my day !
Have a GREAT, marvelous, wonderful week.
Nice place...
ReplyDeleteHave a great day !

I love the process of moving to a new home, decorating, painting, deciding what to donate and what to keep. Just love it, praying for you all to find the right home for you! :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning Taci. Your craft room is so neat and tidy and full of ideas! I love it.
ReplyDeleteIt has been twenty years since we had a house to sell, but I sure do remember how nerve wracking it was. Good luck through this process, and I can't wait to hear all about the home you are building!!
Hugs,
Kris
Hi Taci! Your craft room is absolutely beautiful, just like you. When I saw it last month I thought how perfectly like you it is. Little glimpses of love everywhere. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying for you with the house sale. I know how stressful it can be trying to keep everything perfect while continuing in everyday life.
I hope to see you again soon my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Good luck for the move, I really hope it all goes smoothly. You've created a lovely craft room there and it will be fun to re-create it again in your new home. x
ReplyDeleteOh poor you. I can understand why you have to do it but, trying to keep the house bright and tidy for viewing when you've got teenagers must be a nightmare. Of course we'll understand. You do what you need to do and we'll be waiting for you when you're ready. Love the colour of he walls. It's very striking! Don't push yourself. Remember you are important too so please ....take some time out occasionally !! Joan
ReplyDeleteWhat? Moving? Building? Where? How did I miss this post??? Your current craft space is wonderful, and while it is exciting for you and your family to move, I KNOW how stressful it can be.
ReplyDeleteOops...hit publish accidentally! I am praying your building and move is progressing smoothly. If you need a break in all the whirl of activity let me know and you can come here for a cup of tea and a hug, and some stitching too, if you like :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you and yours, Taci! I miss you!
