Hi there Friends...
I was reading Lucy's blog this weekend and she was asking everyone interested to make buntings to send to her for the Yarndale festival in England.
I always wanted to make some buntings and I think that is all I needed for inspiration...
You know how we crafty people are ... the thought of having something I made all the way... across the globe ... in England just got me all excited...
I couldn't contain myself.
I hurried upstairs to my craft room... got a whole basket of colorful yarn and got right to work on it...
Now, even though I did have a long weekend I only read about it yesterday so I haven't had much time to work on them. I only worked on these 2 and I'm not done yet... I still have to trim the red one... but I am sure having lots, I mean lots of fun ...
I'm going to make a few more and when I am done I'll show you all of them before I send them of...
and then... on the day of the Yarndale Festival if you are there and look up to see all the buntings ...one of mine will be sitting there and greeting you, sending smiles and wishing you have lots, lots of fun that day
:)
For more information or if you also want to make and send buntings for Yarndale visit Lucy at Attic24 and I'm sure you will have as much fun as I am having making mine.
As always thanks for stopping by to see me and have a fabulous week :)
Oh Taci your buntings are BeAuTiFuL!!!! Just like you. :-). What fun to think of them flying clear over in England. I can't wait to see the others you will make.

ReplyDeleteHello Taci,
ReplyDeleteBunting....something I've never made either! I've been itching to get started on this since I read about it on Lucy's blog a few days ago.
I totally agree with you it would be great to think a few of my triangles would be flapping in the breeze over there in Yorkshire.
keep well
Amanda :-)
